Aladdin's Castle is a Child Care Center in Carlsbad NM, with a maximum capacity of 87 children. This childcare center serves children from Infants to 12-year-olds.

The Child Development Center provides childcare to infants aged 6 weeks and children up to 36 months. Childcare is available to both typically developing
children and those who are at risk or who have been identified as having a developmental delay. CARC, Inc. also offers early intervention services, at no cost to the family, for children with developmental disabilities or who have a developmental delay of at least 25%.

Jose Day Care is a childcare center with a maximum capacity of 212 children. This childcare center serves children from 1 to 12 years of age. San Jose Day Care participates in a subsidized childcare program.

Shining Stars Preschool is a structured, Bible-oriented school for children ages one through five years. The preschool is a ministry of Sunset Church of Christ that seeks to develop each child in the unique way that God has intended and to encourage spiritual, mental, physical, emotional, and social growth. We provide children with fun, educational activities that are age-appropriate and stimulating to their minds. The school is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am - 1 pm in order to best meet the needs of our students and their parents.

Our mission is to provide school clothing and supplies to underprivileged children, and to children or families who have lost their homes to disasters or inner turmoil and are in need of all types of clothing, including coats, underwear, and socks.

Carlsbad Outreach Center - Clothing Bank provides donated clothing to individuals in need. Individuals may apply every 30 days, six times per year.
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

The Carlsbad Downtown Lions Club aids children in need of glasses. The club has funded hundreds of eye examinations and glasses for needy children. Children are referred by their school nurse. They may see an optometrist of their choosing. The Club then reimburses up to $175 for the eye exam and glasses.

Our sole purpose is to provide help in times of financial distress by assisting individuals with the following needs: food (pantry referrals), shelter (rent/mortgage), clothing, educational scholarship/financial assistance, life skills, financial counseling/budgeting, mentoring, and/or other basic human needs.

With a local office right here in Carlsbad, Veterans can get assistance and guidance with state and federal Veterans' programs.

We are a non-profit organization serving the greater Carlsbad Community. Believing in Christ's call to love and serve others, the Faith, Hope, & Love Foundation is dedicated to offering assistance in providing basic human needs and support for the most vulnerable and income disadvantaged. United Way of Eddy County distributes food on the 2nd Friday of every month in addition to providing limited water and gas utility bill assistance to those in need. The organization maintains a list of local food pantries, shelters, and other utility assistance resources.

Calvary Assembly Church provides free hot meals every Monday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. On the 3rd Saturday of each month, the church's volunteer team distributes food to families in the community.

The Carlsbad Community Kitchen (CCK) serves in excess of 100 meals per day, Monday through Friday. CCK is a solid provider of much-needed, hot, nutritional meals for people of all ages. First Christian Church supports the Carlsbad Community Kitchen financially and with volunteers from their membership.

At CCHC we offer a faith-based program to men and women with various lifestyle obstacles. We offer a unique way to overcome and face addictions head-on. CCHC provides one on one treatment, as no two people are alike, with the hope of instilling Hope that will last a lifetime. The Hope Center gives homeless residents that are ready to improve their lives a place to stay and offers a variety of resources from clothing and haircuts to legal assistance and anger management classes while helping them find a job.

We help families with unsuccessful living strategies learn new strategies, gain skills, and education, then transition into more successful lives. We own and operate 3 single-family transitional houses. Client families typically stay 8-12 months while working on goals and gaining financial stability. When funding is available, we provide temporary housing assistance to individuals.
